A Cape Cod oyster shell was molded and cast as the centerpiece of this sterling silver hinged bracelet.  The oyster is oxidized to show the detailed texture nature gave the shell.  The widest part of the shell is approximately 1 1/8 inches (2.9 cm) wide.
