Modeled after the bay scallops found on Cape Cod, these handcarved mini scallop shell studs are cast in 14K gold or sterling silver.  These fun studs can be worn with the shell pointed in either direction.  Each shell is approximately 3/8 inches (1 cm) in diameter with a standard friction post and butterfly earring back. The sterling silver version has hypoallergenic 14K yellow gold posts.
