Unique spiral & chain patterned wood earrings dangle from sterling silver french hook ear wires.  Each earring was painstakenly handcarved out of a single piece of recycled wood and has no gluings.  The wood is stained with a medium tone brown wood stain and sealed.  Each earring is approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.4 cm) wide by 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) tall and is very lightweight.  The french hooks are purposely angled to allow the earrings to freely move when worn.
